Enjoy La Selva’s season cooking.

“Can Gallart” is a traditional Catalan farmhouse dating from 1857, in which the old rooms have been converted into pleasant dining rooms, in a cosy atmosphere which is typical of the region.

The cookery depends on the season and the market, featuring traditional produce of La Selva, both from our fields and from the sea which lies close at hand.

Girona veal, stuffed squid, fresh salad made with goat cheese, Montserrat tomatoes or langoustines... onion soup... pan roasted snails, rice dishes and paellas, noodle dishes and of course cod... char-grilled meat and vegetables... griddled or baked fish from our coasts, shellfish... and the traditional casseroles from our area... all these are among the dishes which distinguish our cuisine.
